About this tool: Resize image
Set exact pixel dimensions without redrawing your image.
Set the output width and height in pixels and keep proportions locked for a natural-looking photo. This is useful when preparing an image for a web layout or reducing oversized camera files. Unlocking proportions permits independent dimensions, which can visibly stretch the subject.
Preview the change before downloading. Keep the original dimensions when detail matters, and reduce dimensions only when your destination requires it.
What you can do
Use an image or video you own or have permission to modify. Keep the original; a crop, format conversion or quality setting may remove pixels, transparency or fine detail.
Set width and height in pixels. Keep proportions on to avoid stretching a photo; a larger pixel size does not create missing detail.
Transparent pixels become white in JPEG.
The output must be between 1 and 24 million pixels, with each side at most 8192 pixels.
Check the displayed output dimensions before downloading. Enlarging a raster image resamples the available pixels rather than recovering missing detail. If the required change is a new composition, crop the source area; if it is adding a new surrounding scene, use AI expansion.
