Generate AI video inside Claude
Claude does not make videos on its own. Add FilmLune as a connector and Claude can browse prompt cases, quote credits and create an image or a short video clip with FilmLune, right in your conversation.
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste this URL and save:

Can Claude generate AI video?
Not by itself. Claude writes and reasons, but it has no video model. FilmLune runs the generation on its own servers with the models offered on the site, then returns the result to Claude. FilmLune is an independent service, not made by Anthropic or OpenAI.
How it works

- Describe the shot
Tell Claude what you want. It picks a model, writes the prompt and asks FilmLune for an exact credit quote.
- Confirm and get the clip
After you approve the credits, FilmLune creates one image or one short video clip. Claude checks the job and gives you the private result.

Credits and limits
Generation spends your FilmLune credits, as on the website. Every job starts with a quote: nothing is spent before you confirm, and a job never spends more than the quote. Results stay private in your account. Each video job makes one clip within the chosen model’s limits, with no editing, subtitles or voiceover. You need an account with a verified email to create a key.

Is this an official Claude feature?
No. FilmLune is a third-party MCP server. Claude, Claude Code and Codex connect to it like any other MCP connector.
Do I need an API key?
Not to browse. To generate, create a FilmLune MCP access key in your account. FilmLune has no separate Public API.
How much does it cost?
Connecting is free. Each generation costs FilmLune credits, and Claude shows you the exact quote before anything is spent.
Which video models can I use?
The models FilmLune offers now. Ask Claude to list them: each comes with its options and credit price.
